Research Analyst (Regulations) Qualification
(RS) Part II
The Series 87 Exam Research Analyst is the "Regulations" portion of the Series
86/87 exam series. Passing this series of exams qualifies an individual to be a
research analyst at NYSE and FINRA(NASD) member firms.The
Series 7 exam is a
prerequisite to sit for this exam.

Note: The Series 86 (Analysis) portion of this series is a 100
point 4 hour exam covering: Information and Data Collection (10 questions) and
Analysis, Modeling, and Valuation (90 questions). A candidate who has passed
Level I and Level II of the Charter Financial Analyst (CFA) Exam may request an
exemption from Part 1 (Series 86 - Analysis) of the Research Analyst
Qualification Exam. We do not have study materials for the Series
87
Exam.
